Tom Cruise is gonna yell at both of y’all like he did those crew members after this review. Go full Les Grossman. 😂
The vilains death in this movie was a straight up lonely toons death
Skynet without the Terminators is a pretty good analogy for the 'Entity'.
I disagree with the review but genuinely loved the review.
I nearly skipped seeing this movie in theaters, influenced by the numerous critics' reviews, but I ended up really enjoying it. Is it heavy on exposition? Honestly, all Mission Impossible films are packed with exposition. My advice: don't let critics sway your decision. Check out this film and support this genre. It delivers nonstop action, genuine stakes, drama, incredible stunts, and excellent acting. The theater i was in was cheering, laughing gasping, it was an awesome experience. Go watch this movie! You won't regret it!
The most unrealistic part of this movie is Angela Bassett as President. Not saying someone like her is not qualified, is that the American electorate would be smart enough to elect someone as qualified as her.
Rogue Nation & Fallout are the most perfect Mission Impossible films.
Mission: Exposition—The Final Explanation.
The first act is definitely bogged down with exposition, but once the action kicks in, you forget all that. The action set pieces in this film are why you go to the theater. The stunts are truly jaw-dropping. I had an absolute blast.
How did you both watch this movie and didn't realize that it wasn't Tom Cruise's weight that was shifting the sub, it was the shift by the flowing of water being displaced and moving to different areas of the sub? Lol.
Ghost Protocol thru Fallout, that perfect trilogy
I saw this film in IMAX yesterday. A solid 8/10.
Totally agree with Martin's wider point about franchise films. By bringing more and more characters in each time, you end up with a problem where screen time and dialogue is spread so thin... to the point where you have groups of people stood around finishing each other's sentences, or adding random remarks.
I'm not into these movies but I have so much respect for tom cruise. The way he treats his fans is incredible and you can tell he doesn't take them for granted. He's built a legacy that will live on forever. He is truly the last major action star that we all need. I'm glad he loves and respects movies as much as I do.
Literally just saw it. Wow! Wildly entertaining! Well worth the ticket price.
It's like the first act was directed by Hideo Kojima
"He ain't the Flash!" cracked me up,,,:face-blue-smiling::face-blue-smiling::face-blue-smiling::face-blue-smiling:
