I want to comment on why there was the name change. From my understanding: Marvelous was the developer of the original Harvest Moon Games, and Natsume the translator/publisher. At some point, the two companies split. Marvelous still owned the rights to the games, but the title Harvest Moon itself, for whatever reason, belonged to Natsume. Because of this, all remakes of older Harvest Moon games (Friends of Mineral Town for example) are given the new title of Story of Seasons. So Story of Seasons is made by the people who made the original Harvest Moon, and all the... lower quality more recent Harvest Moon were made by the people who translated it. [Natsume didn't even do a good job with the translations, on the title screen of Harvest Moon 64 they misspelled their own company name as Natume. Which is hilarious]

My first and only harvest moon game was harvest moon ds, i was maybe 9 and all i remember is constantly passing out in the caves and eating every herb i found on the ground, not being literate enough to know which ones were actually poison. I dont think i even once had a successful farm but Muffy was always my favourite. I would give her the nicest leaf i found on the floor that day 😊

I'm only about an hour and a half in. But I found it rather humorous when you said, "I have to pick anyone but Celia this time because I always pick her." early on... Then at the point where I am in the play-back, you put up a poll with her as an option (planned to leave up for an hour, mind you)... AND THEN almost immediately overrode yourself right away with, "Maybe I should just do it" (referring to marrying Celia). ;) I'd also like to note, that right after getting on Rock's case... You watched an episode of your show where the exact same story is playing out on screen, and your rooting for "Ace hasn't done anything, and Summer is just the worst." ;)

The fact that the Nature Sprites mistake you for a Nature Sprite is... Curious. They say they're the only ones in the Valley, so clearly they recognize a difference between themselves and the other villagers. So why do they think you're a Nature Sprite? Are there hidden story implications there?

I loved A wonderful life for the gamecube. LOVED it. AWL was actually my introduction to life simulation/farming games and is the main reason I still love games like this to this day.

This was my first harvest moon game and i was TERRIBLE at it. The only things i knew were pick flowers and fish. I always got stuck on year 2 and never had any money. Seeing this makes me want to redeem myself. Also i love gordy hes so cool
