The stalking trope is just so OVER ROMANTISCISED. I don't CARE if he/she "loves" them- thats not "love" thats OBSESSION. AND CLEARY IF YOU LIKE THAT TROPE- YOU DEFINITELY HAVE AN OBSESSION WITH THAT KIND OF NASTY CRAP. 😭 Edit: And the fact that SO many GIRLS write their books making a GUY as the stalker is just so problematic and just complete absorbed to men, cus its giving young impressionable girls the mindset that any "sexy guy" who stalks you will "totally" give you your "happily ever after." It's just so werid that a lot of women thinks that if a guy stalks you he has to be sexy and hot otherwise he ain't worth it, and then that's when he's the werido. Like can we normalize the fact that MEN DO NOT ACT LIKE THIS!
