This Howrah Bridge was constructed in the year 1874 at a total cost of ₹2.2 million. As the bridge could not handle the rapidly increasing traffic load, the Port Commissioners started planning in 1905 for a new improved bridge.
This is a rare footage captured from a French travelogue released in 1906. As the footage is more than 100 years old It was difficult to Restore frame by frame. However I have missed the Delflickering algorithm otherwise it could have been better
